Maarten van der Horst, Alice Lee and Sorcha O’Raghallaigh, to name but a few, have been chosen to take part in the 2012 Selfridge’s Bright Young Things project. The initiative nurtures up-and-coming talent; this time they are offering 15 British designers a chance to create their own windows for the London store, as well as have their collection sold in-store and online.
“None of this year’s brands have a bricks-and-mortar stockist in the UK, which is really exciting for Selfridges as it means some wonderfully fresh, unique additions to our shopfloor edit.” — Alex Iancovici, contemporary womenswear buyer for Selfridges
Will you be dropping by to check out the windows?
