Yet another designer-highstreet collaboration has been announced! Chic Canadian designer Todd Lynn has confirmed he will be following in the footsteps of the likes of Henry Holland, Marios Schwab, John Rocha, Julien Macdonald and Stephen Jones, and is pairing up with department store Debenhams for a collection.
Part of their Edition concept (which collaborates with and promotes emerging talent), Todd Lynn will be producing a 12-piece collection in time for October this year, and will feature outerwear, knitwear, denim and leather, in keeping with his signature dark tailoring. Suzanne Harlow, group trading director for Debenhams, told Vogue:
“We are delighted that Todd has come on board as a designer at Debenhams… He is the perfect candidate to join our edition concept, evolving and complementing the existing collections with his sharp tailoring and leather pieces to inject excitement for the autumn/winter season.”
I can really see a collection from Todd Lynn fitting in at Debenhams, and will be keeping my eyes peeled this October to get my hands on it!
