PFW: Givenchy

0Riccardo Tisci loves to give us a performance at Givenchy. This time around, it involved Antony and the Johnsons playing live with The Heritage Orchestra and an AW’13 collection to leave you breathless. Full of Tisci-esque shapes and signatures, with inspiration from gypsy and Victoriana style and the idea of nabbing a boy’s wardrobe.

Pieces of Note:
Leather biker jackets, that transformed into deconstructed skirts as well, then later teamed with flamenco ruffled skirts in autumnal hues; faded roses tripping from jackets to lumberjack shirts, sweatshirts with Bambi and shark motifs, and even toggle coats – all reflecting a sensual, punky and “keeping it real” vibe.
Style: Tisci said how he wanted to keep it real, and keep it real he did. It was clever, with enough touches of humour to keep it serious, slightly punky but definitely beautiful.
