PFW: Maison Martin Margiela

0The beauty of Maison Martin Margiela is its innovation with stepping too far away from the core values of the brand. This AW’13 collection at Paris Fashion Week was all about fluidity.

Pieces of Note:
Suits with split open sleeves that covered hands and were slicked with yellow or bright pink, bomber-blazer jackets, fur coats, gowns that implied slogan flags, and tulle vests woven with yarn. And throughout, straps on the back to tuck hair in to.
Style: Colours of mint, mustard, magenta splashed confidently across a collection that is super-wearable, with touches of that MMM flair. Notably streamlined and cohesive as a collection, it was Maison  Martin Margiela’s most wearable yet.
