PFW: Mugler

0It’s always a stand-out show from Mugler under creative director Nicola Formichetti, and this AW’13 is no different.

Pieces of Note:
Sculpted and futuristic, this is not a shy collection. Scuba-style skirt suits, with bunched upper arms, dresses with tulip skirts, coats with oval cut-outs at the waist, and fin-like additions to skirts that leaned out from the body. Peach, mauve and lavender were accented by neon green and pink. Textures came in bouclé effect, fur and patent.
Style: It’s all about the statement, and with Beyoncé and Dita von Teese as muses, it stands to reason. Keep everything structured, and let the clothes rather than the colours do the talking.
