MFW: Salvatore Ferragamo

0It felt like the perfect blend of trends at Salvatore Ferragamo, in this ultra-wearable, sleek and controlled AW’13 collection.

Pieces of Note:
We’re back in the Sixties again – double-breasted pea coats, macs and short jackets were worn with mini skirts and gaiters imitating knee high boots;  then there was shaggy fur, and futuristic tops to blend. Architecture came from the jacket lapels – layered up and big – and belt-like ties hung on hips to emphasise shape.
Style: Slick and structural, this is a straight-to-wardrobe collection – a collection with purpose. Stick with a palette of black, slate and navy to keep it chic.
