MFW: Roberto Cavalli

0There was something of the Joan of Arc from Roberto Cavalli this season, in an AW’13 collection that inspired the Medieval.

Pieces of Note:
Lots of tunic dresses, and dresses of studs, pleats and knits that evoked a chainmail feel. Typically Cavalli trousers – flared – and typically Cavalli jackets – with sharp shoulders – and the usual clever jewels and box clutches.
Style: Choose a simple grey or monochrome palette, add red, blue, yellow or purple, and mix it with big and bold fur. Prints are busy, so you’ve got to have the steel to wear them, because they’re worn head-to-toe.
