MFW: Dolce & Gabbana

0Infused with typical Italian pride, it really showed in this Dolce & Gabbana AW’13 collection.

Pieces of Note:
Italian mosaics and frescoes infused the collection with rich, luxurious shades of red, green, blue and gold. From the Fifties flowing gowns to the shift dresses with fluted sleeves, models skimmed down the catwalk in little crowns. Then there were prim and proper houndstooth skirt suits, and swingy coats.
Style: Loose in shape (aside from the gold filigree bustier dedicated to Saint Agatha and corset-waisted black lace dresses), and accessorised with flowers, chandelier earrings and caged heels. Rich, Italian and very Dolce & Gabbana.
