Skulls aren’t just for goths and pirates any more. They are fast becoming favourite accessories to the fashion world, and the highstreet is packed with skull printed goodies! When it comes to wearing them, I try to stick to accessorizing. Try skull earrings or a skull-print scarf to begin with and go from there. Think glam rock rather than Pirates of the Caribbean.

Don’t be afraid to layer on the skulls – big rings and long pendants are great for a subtle nod to the trend, but you can go all-out skull and get these leggings from Topshop! Give skulls a go, and remember that this is a fun trend – not a serious one. Have a sense of humour about it. The bigger the better.
