NYFW: Victoria Beckham

19Using heritage fabrics, VB did what she does so well – combining the retrained lines of chic with the voluminous contours of style – for this AW’13 collection.

Pieces of Note:
Tweed, plaid, knit and herringbone in carefully crafted dresses, tuxedo-capes and midi pencil skirts with suggestive slits up the front.
Style: Both a nod to the sporty trend and a tip of the hat to British heritage, this was a blend of the chic and the fun – with bolts of canary yellow and cobalt blue, accessorized with huge bags so synonymous with the designer herself.
