If you haven’t seen it yet – where have you been!? Burberry (at last) opened their London flagship store last month, in a Grade II listed building on Regent Street. Keen to use this new store as an “events and innovation hub”, this is Burberry Online in the flesh, and its own limited edition collection to honour its opening – with the signature outerwear and lashings of gold as the centrepiece.
The 44,000 square feet is divided in a similar manner to the online store – with sections for Bespoke, Acoustic and Experiences – and even performs its own weather system, with the occasional digital thunderstorm to add to the shopping experience, and changing room mirrors displaying random pieces from recent collections. There is even a stage for one-off gigs!
