PPQ at London Fashion Week SS’13

It’s been said that a PPQ show is a party. And with a front row including Jameela Jamil and Jodie Harsh and Goldsmiths Hall as the venue, it was a huge party.

Welcome to the sixties, folks. Insanely bold paisley prints on kaftans, catsuits and maxi dresses, lime green breaking up the pink and red, extra-high ponytails and chandelier earrings blazed down the runway, cinched by buckle detail at the waist and framed by huge Breakfast at Tiffany’s style hats and stiletto mules.

After the paisley came the stripes – on asymmetric dresses and off-the-shoulder tops – creating a wearable and well-rounded collection that designer Amy Molyneaux called “sophis-cadelic”.
