Dior’s New Head Honcho

After the sensational sacking of Dior’s designer, John Galliano, rumours have been flying about who’s going to take the helm. Creative director at Louis Vuitton and master of handbags, Marc Jacobs, was tipped to be taking charge. But now it appears that it might be Jil Sander creative director, Raf Simons who will be heading up the Parisian brand – just in time for haute couture season in January. He’s been storming it up a treat at Jil Sander since 2005 and his minimalistic, aesthetic collections would certainly be a new direction after the theatricality of Galliano.
