The Week in Fashion

Best-dressed Female

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, our favourite leggy blonde, stunned this week at Burberry’s new store opening in Paris. I love this Burberry Prorsum pencil skirt from their SS’12 collection. I can’t wait to nab a lookalike on the highstreet.

Best-dressed Male

I have a strange crush on Adrien Brody. The actor and film producer turned up looked very dapper at the UNICEF Snowflake ball, to rub shoulders with the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker and Zoe Kravitz.

Biggest News Story

This week, it’s a draw. Choose from Tommy Hilfiger’s London launch and the news that Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black dress sold for a whopping £43,200 in auction. Tommy Hilfiger launched the new flagship store in Knightsbridge with an appearance from the designer himself, lots of cocktails, and appearances from the likes of Georgia May Jagger and Dominic Cooper. Meanwhile, the Kerry Taylor Auctions ‘Passion for Fashion’ sale saw Amy’s dress meet twice its estimate in auction, with all proceeds going towards the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

Favourite Highstreet Store

With Christmas around the corner (yes, it really IS December), Boots have stocked their shelves with their traditional 3for2 offers. Pick up bags of goodies suitable for all the family, from Ted Baker, No7 and even Gok Wan this year. I have been taken advantage of my carefully collected points to splurge on some make-up goodies, including a sorbet-shaded mint green nail polish from Barry M for £2.99.

Favourite Outfit

This week, my favourite outfit comes from Warehouse. Advertising the jacket, I love this orange blouse underneath! I’ll be wearing it exactly like this, with black skinny jeans and some sky-high nude heels. For a night out, glam it up with smoky eyes and, if you’re feeling extra confident, a trilby hat. This outfit is shown in their “Ware For: The Office Party” range.

Got some celebrity crushes? Are they wearing exactly what you wish you could wear? Well, so have I, and here are some of the stylish celebrities I follow on Twitter…

Favourite Fashion Blog

My oh my. She knows her stuff. And just look at her beautiful website! It has leopard print, so I’m sold. She beats to her own drum, and its reflected in the creativity of her style. If you like something a bit different, a lot of bright colours, and some good old fashion sense, then you have to check out V.V.

Back of the Wardrobe

Okay, so it’s not that old, but I’d kind of forgotten how wonderful it was. This berry-coloured jumper is so snuggly and warm – perfect for when you’re curling up in front of the X-Factor on this chilly winter nights! You can get it from New Look for £22.99.

Model of the Moment

17 years old? Check. Daughter of a rockstar and beauty queen? Check. If she wasn’t such an amazing model, you’d probably wish you could hate Georgie May Jagger. She is the talk of the town, and has grown into her beauty much more this year. This was proven beyond a doubt with her appearance at the Tommy Hilfiger London store launch in a killer LBD. Watch out – Mick Jagger may have moves, and Jerry Hall may be a complete cougar, but it’s their second-born that’s taking over the world.
